Taalaash - A Website For Searching Through Textbooks
Taalaash is a website by ACS and Biology Hunters. Taalaash has the ability to index textbooks and search through them on demand. This is meant to be a helping software for students. We upload pdfs or images of a books, the backend server indexes it, saves the tokens to a database, and then displays it to the users.
Some new features I implemented:
- Advanced search filtering
- Bulk book indexing
- Highlighting the search query on the image
